Branding of the Year 2024

 

We’re over the moon to share that this year Vale has been awarded Branding of the Year at the 2024 Brewers Choice Awards!


The award was specifically for the rebrand project that we completed earlier on this year, refreshing the core Vale brand, as well as updating branding and identity for each beer. The judges called out the holistic approach that had been taken to the branding, creating a unified set.


We were up against some fantastic competition in St. Austell and Abbeydale, and very proud to have been recognised amongst such great brewers.


It’s a tricky thing carrying out a full rebrand. It’s not just about the visual update. It was important to us that the new branding accurately reflected who we are as a brewery, and what it is that our customers, team, and colleagues love about Vale.


At the heart of the rebrand was the core belief that Vale beers have always been about bringing people together, and we wanted the new branding to reflect that sense of connection, as well as paying tribute to our local Buckinghamshire roots.


Of course, we must give a shout out to Tim Weaver AKA The Brand Weaver, who worked with the whole team on the project from start to finish and did an incredible job translating feedback, insights and research into the new designs. Well done Tim!


But most importantly, thank YOU, our loyal customers and supporters, for enjoying our beers, providing feedback and supporting the brewery.


So, what’s next?


Well, we’re not resting on our laurels. As we look ahead to 2025, we’re very excited about what’s to come.


We have plenty in store, from new beer releases to further creative projects, as well as some great news from our production team, so stay tuned for more updates in the coming months!
